Wow! Boys are so different than girls. Or maybe it's 2nd children. Dillon loves to throw balls, run around the house screaming (some of that is copying his sister). He's doing some of the physical things earlier than Bridget did. Sometimes it makes me nuts. It's hard to get anything done with these 2. I hold to the theory of housework can slide b/c the kids are going to grow up so fast! I love my time with them, we have fun. But, I look forward to my evenings with some quiet time.
Dillon is talking all the time - mostly things I can't understand. He must really know what he's saying because he'll say the same thing over and over. He does say 'teeth', 'doggy', 'daddy', 'mama' (a lot!), 'birdy'. I think he says a version of Bridget. He loves to make animal noises too.
Bridget can't get enough of Dillon - always giving him kisses. We have little issues with him getting into her stuff - but I guess this is just the beginning! I try to help her understand that at this age he doesn't realize that it will make her upset. We play lots of barbies, and imaginary friends (primarily Mowgli).
I co-chaired the preschool clothing exchange. It was a good experience...lots of work, but good. We had a record breaking spring sale - making $30,000 - $12,000 of it for the preschool. It was hard the week of the sale. I had to be gone a lot. Brian and the kids were glad when it was over.
Brian found out this week that his job is safe. Since Wells Fargo purchased Wachovia it's been a bit up in the air.
Our lives are busy - but good! We are ready for spring and ready to start getting our house back in shape.
