Easter Bonnet parade

At school the Kindergarten classes did an Easter Bonnet parade. Bridget and I created her bonnet. I let her wear her Easter dress to school and she was so pleased. :)

Once Upon a Lily Pad

Bridget's school does a play every year for the K, 1, 2 grades and a few 5th graders. Bridget was a fire fly. Such a fun play with great music and dancing! The kids worked hard and it showed. Bridget had practice for almost 2 months before the play! Xander was a frog.

See Bridget sitting on the stage - 3rd from the left.
She's a star!

Dash Game

We went to a Dash game at the end of April. What fun! We had tickets that got us into the kid area before the game. The kids loved the bouncy house, slide, and carousel. Then we watched a fun Dash game. The home team won!

Symphony with Dillon

Brian took Dillon to the Kids Discovery series at the Winston Salem Symphony. There was a fire theme...and fire trucks were there! They had a fun afternoon.

MOVIE - Locked

Bridget is an actress! She filmed a small role in a UNC School of the Arts student film. It's a short 10 minute movie about a world where you are not allowed to have an imagination. Bridget's role was that of a friend for the main character little girl. We went and spent a morning at the Children's Home in Winston. This was the filming location...it was beautiful! It was a rather chchchchilly morning unfortunately, but Bridget did a great job! We can't wait to see the movie.
Here is a picture of Bridget and Ryan - the main character.

Getting some direction from Director Alisha Gaskins

Looking bored...that's what they were supposed to do for the scene's beginning. Isn't that shed cool?! It's full of leaves and the girls had fun playing in it.

Horse Stables Kids Morning Out

We had a fun morning out with Megan a few weeks ago. Dillon and I picked Megan up and went to Cash Lovell Stables for a fun time playing with bubbles, hoola hoops, and going on pony rides. We were there with Emily, Jackson and Lily - but I didn't get a picture with them!

Megan was REALLY good at the hoola hoops. :)

On pony ride #1

Megan would have stood there and brushed this pony all day...she loved it!

Visit to Aunt Sarah!

We took the second half of spring break and went up to Fairfax, VA to visit Aunt Sarah. Her birthday was April 1st (24 years young!) and we were excited to celebrate with her. We took a day around Fairfax..did some shopping, visited Sarah's classroom, and went out to eat. Then we went to the Air and Space Museum in Washington on Saturday. What a fun day! The weather was wishy washy, and we had to walk in the rain on the way to the museum and wait in line for a loooong time at the bathroom...but it was worth it! The sun was shining when we left thankfully. :)
The museum was a lot of fun. The kids really enjoyed seeing the airplanes, rockets, and information about space. We walked over to the White House after the museum. Long, but fun day!

Happy Birthday Aunt Sarah!

Waiting for the bathroom......

Love this picture! Sitting under the nose of an airplane - see their reflections. Bridget's expression is priceless. LOL

Bridget got to be a helper in one of the mini-programs about air flow.

HA...the sun was in their eyes. I couldn't get a good picture without eyes closed or squinty eyes.

After a long day we walked over to see the White House before heading back to the car. This was as close as we could get.

Endless mirrors in the bathroom at the Ronald Reagan International Bldg. We parked the car here...and it was 4 levels UNDERGROUND!
