Visit to Aunt Sarah!

We took the second half of spring break and went up to Fairfax, VA to visit Aunt Sarah. Her birthday was April 1st (24 years young!) and we were excited to celebrate with her. We took a day around Fairfax..did some shopping, visited Sarah's classroom, and went out to eat. Then we went to the Air and Space Museum in Washington on Saturday. What a fun day! The weather was wishy washy, and we had to walk in the rain on the way to the museum and wait in line for a loooong time at the bathroom...but it was worth it! The sun was shining when we left thankfully. :)
The museum was a lot of fun. The kids really enjoyed seeing the airplanes, rockets, and information about space. We walked over to the White House after the museum. Long, but fun day!

HA...the sun was in their eyes. I couldn't get a good picture without eyes closed or squinty eyes.

 

 

After a long day we walked over to see the White House before heading back to the car. This was as close as we could get.

 

 

Endless mirrors in the bathroom at the Ronald Reagan International Bldg. We parked the car here...and it was 4 levels UNDERGROUND!
