Saturday in Chapel Hill

We went to Chapel Hill on Saturday and hung out with Scott, Ashley and Caroline. We went to a park near their house and the kids had a fun time. Caroline is growing so fast – she’s such a fun little girl! Bridget and Dillon are enamored with her. I look forward to seeing the cousins grow together. I have good memories of times with my cousins – so I hope they have the same.

BounceU

We went to BounceU on Monday. It's a place with lots of blownup jumping contraptions, and slides. The kids had a blast...and I had some fun too. :)

Bridget's Tap Video

Here is Bridget's performance. Enjoy!!

Bridget performed at her teacher, Miss Pam's, church on Valentine's Day. They had a talent show. She tapped to the Hop Scotch Polka. She was in her element...no stage fright and a huge smile the whole time. She's quite a performer already.
Striking a dance pose!

During the performance. She smiled the whole time and loved the applause at the end!!

Playground

We had a few really nice, warm days. We had a 'family day' (as Bridget called it) and went to the park. We had a fun time on the swings.

The Couch

The new favorite hangout for Bridget and Dillon is the couch. They take the pillows off or go behind them and pretend it's their house, at least Bridget does. Dillon likes to pull up the blinds or pull off the blind twisters.
This particular day they were having a screaming match. You can see more of Dillon's molar in the one picture too. (remember if you click on a picture you can see it bigger)

The duck pond

Dillon loved going to feed the ducks. He says "du" for duck. If he can't copy the sound we make for an animal he just goes "mm, mm." It's really cute! I like the shot of Bridget and Dillon standing together, they were yelling over the railing, it was cute!

How can you not love this smile!! And you can see a bit of his molar. The other 3 are all coming in at the same time. Ouch - and his canines are swollen....makes for a drooly boy.

Eating with a fork

Dillon ate his macaroni and cheese tonight with a fork - all by himself!! What a big boy!! He really had it down too - poking the macaroni (which was penne pasta) and putting it in his mouth. He's very into have a plate in front of him to eat off of...and is pretty good at not dumping the whole thing. His drink is another story - he throws that thing on the floor constantly.
I noticed today that his upper left molar is through and his lower right molar is just poking through the gum. I'll be glad when they are in and we can be over teething!
We've had our share of colds lately. I'm ready for cold season to be outta here!!
Bridget is going to dance at Miss Pam's church on Saturday. She's pretty excited. They are having a talent show fundraiser. Bridget will dance the HopScotch Polka with her tap shoes.
