SNOW on Christmas!

It snowed all day on Christmas! 1st white Christmas in a long time. We didn't actually get outside on Christmas, but we did go out and play on the 26th. It was a blast. There was about 6 inches of wet snow, perfect for a snowman and snowball fight. It was fun to have Aunt Sarah her to play!

Looking at the snow from the front window.  (Normally I try to keep them off the back of the couch, but it was so cute!)

Christmas 2010

Christmas was a lot of fun this year. Both kids knew one specific and special thing that they wanted Santa to bring and he did!!
The excitement is so much fun with the kids. The magic of Santa is awesome!
We were also lucky to have Aunt Sarah here to celebrate with us.  We had a fun and relaxed day!

Having hot cocoa and cinnamon buns for breakfast b/4 seeing what Santa brought us!
On our way downstairs.
Surprise...we didn't think Santa would bring the Pillow Pals!

Stockings!

Just what he wanted - Spiderman Fishing Pole!

Just what she wanted - Julie, the American Girl Doll!!

Aunt Sarah - all dressed u!

Busy playing!

Christmas Eve 2010

We went to church on Christmas Eve and were then to the Albert's house for refreshments. It was really nice to spend some time with them. We came home and spread our reindeer food, wrote a note to Santa and got his cookies ready. Excitement was in the air!

The kids were dancing to the Polar Express music.

Dillon really liked chasing the train at the Albert's.

Diligently writing his note to Santa.

Bridget's 1st Salon haircut

Bridget, Sarah and I went for haircuts on Dec. 23rd. I wanted Bridget to get a true haircut so I could ask about how we can train her hair in the back. Bridget was set on a shoulder length cut, and I think it looks really cute!

Christmas Photo Shoot

I setup a black background and thought I'd try to take some pictures for a Christmas card. You can see that we have many outtakes. It's hard to get them to both look at me with good expressions. I love to take pictures of the kids, but sometimes others can get better pictures b/c the kids will listen to them. I hope to get some really nice pictures taken sometime in 2011.

This is about the best picture I got.  I really like the one above too...but Dillon's eyes aren't looking at me!

First snow of the season

We had snow the day of Dillon's birthday party!  Thankfully we could still have the party.  Here some play in the snow on Dec. 4th.  There was actually more snow on the ground on the 3rd...it started to melt b/4 we could get out there.
